My role is to support the lead photographer, follow direction, stay proactive, and help the day run smoothly without needing to be managed.
I am punctual, professionally presented, self-managed and detail-focused. I pay attention to timing, backgrounds, guest reactions, small details, backup angles and the moments that help complete the full story of the day.
I am also happy to be a practical helping hand when needed, whether that means assisting with small tasks, helping organise family members, communicating politely with guests, or keeping things moving in a calm and respectful way.
When asked, I can contribute creative ideas, suggest angles or help problem-solve on the day, while always respecting the lead photographer’s direction and client relationship.
I shoot with professional mirrorless camera equipment, backup camera body, fast lenses and flash.
My setup is suitable for wedding and event coverage, including preparation, ceremony, candid moments, reception details, speeches, low-light environments and fast-moving situations.
RAW files can be delivered directly to the lead photographer after the event.
I do not post, publish or use images publicly unless permission is given by the lead photographer and client.

I’m Melbourne-based and available to support lead photographers with reliable second-shooter coverage for weddings, events and celebrations.
Photography is something I have genuinely loved for the past 25 Years, but I am not looking to become a full-time photographer or compete for lead bookings. My focus is on supporting established photographers as a reliable second shooter or assistant shooter.
Why only SECOND SHOOTER?
Outside of photography, I own and run an IT business, which has shaped the way I work of been prepared, communicate clearly, solve problems clamly, and alwaYS professional with clients.
On the day, my goal is simple — be useful, easy to work with, respectful of the lead photographer’s direction, and help capture the full story without getting in the way.
